*What is Barkoel? Barkoel is a crested hairgrass that has very short growth, which reduces mowing frequency by up to 40 per cent. It has a very fine leaf and keeps its attractive green colour all year round. It has outstanding drought tolerance, remarkable disease resistance and can withstand close mowing down to 5mm.
